It's been a long time since I pop in and say Hi to everyone
Mummy is busy with her work all the while,
so can't 'pop' me in frequently.. =)

Mummy brought me and Dariz to MacDonald (United Square)
for our Breakfast last Saturday
We had a hotcake and a sausage each...
And we shared a packet of milk...
(I wonder if that milk was made in China, will it be melamine-contaminated?? )

We sat at the open space seat outside Macdonalds near to the fountain
The atmosphere was great.... We enjoyed our breakfast tremendouly

We proceed to see the dentist after that..
It was our very first visit to the dentist...
I was so scared....
Maybe because the dentist have a mask on...
But I, being a very good boy, sat on the dental chair without much hassle...

First the doctor counted my teeth
she counted 20...
And wants to take good care of these 20 teeth i have..
Especially those 4 at the back that will accompany me till I'm 9 or 10 years old...
Then she checked my teeth...
Bad news... Doctor told mummy that I have a hole on one of my tooth..
And she recommend to do a filling ASAP..
Without much hesitation, mummy opt to do it on that very day...
I was scared out of my wits when I saw her using the high speed on me..
The sound was so scary...
And yes, you are right.. I cried...
But I still manage to let the doctor finish everything...
That still counted as a good boy right??

While waiting for our turn, Dariz and I read the
Thomas & Train Mini story book

Finally it's my turn, U can see from the look on my face
how I feel about the visit to the dentist

While waiting for his turn, Dariz took the cow with funny teeth
to show mummy...
Is he trying to show you how you should brush your teeth, mama???

Not long before it's Dariz's turn, you see how excited he is..
Getting all ready~

Doctor Merry-Anne working on Dariz...

It's Dariz turn next...
The doctor counted his teeth and Dariz, too, have 20 teeth...
Doctor said that Dariz teeth are all spaced out, hence it was easier to clean
The food stuck in between can be cleaned with just brushing the teeth regularly..
But for me, Doctor told mummy that my teeth are quite crowded together..
Not much spacing, so will have to use the floss to floss my teeth every night...
And this important job is passed to mummy as I'm still too young to floss it myself..
Actually mummy didn't know if I can do it myself,
but she is afraid that I might just cut my gums....
So she rather wait till I'm older before letting me try it..

Brought the kids to explorer kids @ Downtown East last Sunday.
Made a member card for each of them.
Membership only cost $5.50 for NTUC member
and is valid till 12 years old....

Play rates can be viewed here
http://www.ascentis.com.sg/cms/files/fileManager/NTUCCLUB/EXPLORER/Club/EKRates2a%20-%2025%20Jun%2008.jpg

It's more worth it to be a member as u can see the price different is quite drastic..

Travis was a little afraid of climbing up to the higher part of the playground.
He was practically crawling when he reached the highest part...
But I know all he needs is more time to get used to the environment there..
After that, he'll do just fine..

Dariz, as usual, a daredevil...
running fearlessly around the whole playground..
Up and down...
Everywhere...

Brought them over to the ball pool and the wall climbing area as well...
But out of so many places, they're more interested in the ball pool
Where they can lie and roll and run with balls all around them...
The least interested???
The Wall climbing station....
Maybe it's the first time they saw this kind of thingy...
So it's like very 'alien' to them...

Gotta bring them there more...
It helps in their hands-eye coordination...

Kiasu mama~
I've checked out 2 dental clinic..
One is Epismile @ Thomson Plaza &
another is GPA @ United Square.
The nurses at both places are quite friendly and helpful..

Charges:

GPA - 1st consultation - $35
Cleaning - $70 onwards
*Could use CDA funds to pay for the treatment there..

Dr who will be attending to the kids: Dr Merry-Anne
*According to the nurse, Dr Merry-Anne is very experience with
young children.

Epismile - 1st consultation - $20-$40
Cleaning - $35
Dr who will be attending to the kids: Dr Yong Su Lin
